Description
The M5Stack ATOMIC Stepmotor Base is a compact standalone stepper motor driver module designed specifically for use with M5Stack ATOM series controllers such as ATOM Lite, ATOMS3, and ATOMS3 Lite. Powered by the high-performance DRV8825 stepper motor driver chip, the module delivers stable and precise motor control for embedded motion control applications.
The driver supports up to 1/32 microstepping resolution, enabling smoother motor movement, reduced vibration, and improved positioning accuracy. By adjusting the onboard variable resistor, the module can provide a maximum drive current of up to 1.2A, suitable for driving compact bipolar stepper motors in robotics, automation, and DIY electronics projects.
The ATOMIC Stepmotor Base features an integrated DC-DC power circuit for stable voltage regulation and reliable operation. Built-in overcurrent protection helps safeguard both the driver and connected motor from electrical damage during operation.
