Description
The SN7474N is a classic TTL integrated circuit containing two independent D-type edge-triggered flip-flops. Each flip-flop features individual asynchronous preset and clear inputs. These devices trigger on the positive-going edge of the clock (CLK) pulse, capturing the logic level present at the D input and transferring it to the Q and Q-NOT outputs.
As a foundational member of the 74 series TTL logic family, the SN7474N is widely used in educational settings, digital signal processing, and timing-critical applications. The DIP-14 through-hole package provides excellent stability and ease of use for breadboarding, prototyping, and legacy electronic repairs.
