Description
The DC Motor Governor PWM Variable Speed Control Switch 6V-90V 15A controls the speed of a DC motor by adjusting Pulse-Width Modulation (PWM). This heavy-duty DC motor speed regulator is ideal for high-voltage applications, providing fine, reliable adjustment of motor speeds.
External 0-5V DC Control Instructions
To use an external control signal with this governor, follow these steps:
- Step 1: Disconnect/remove the onboard potentiometer from the circuit board.
- Step 2: Connect the 0–5V DC control signal wire to the middle pin marked “0-5V”.
- Step 3: Connect the earth/ground wire of your 0–5V DC control signal to the pin terminal marked “GND”.
Important Notes & Warnings
- Motor Type Restriction: This controller is strictly designed for brushed DC motors and cannot be used with brushless motors.
- Polarity Protection: Do not reverse the positive and negative terminals of the DC power supply input, as this will permanently damage the governor circuit.
- Direction Adjustment: If motor rotation is inconsistent with your expectations, simply reverse the motor line sequence order.
