Description
The BIGTREETECH TMC5160T Pro V1.0 is a high-performance stepper motor driver module designed for demanding motion control applications such as 3D printers, CNC machines, robotics, and industrial automation systems. Based on the advanced TMC5160-TA driver IC, the module delivers powerful motor control with low heat generation, high precision, and ultra-quiet operation.
The driver utilizes external MOSFET power expansion technology to support high-current motor driving capability while maintaining stable thermal performance. It supports advanced motor control technologies such as StealthChop2™, SpreadCycle™, StallGuard2™, and CoolStep™ for efficient, smooth, and highly accurate motor operation.
StealthChop2 technology significantly reduces motor noise and resonance, enabling near-silent operation even at low speeds. SpreadCycle provides high-precision current control for smooth dynamic motor motion with reduced vibration and improved waveform quality.
The integrated StallGuard2 feature allows sensorless load detection and motor stall monitoring, enabling functions such as filament blockage detection, sensorless homing, and torque monitoring without requiring mechanical limit switches.
CoolStep intelligent current control dynamically optimizes motor current according to load conditions, helping reduce energy consumption by up to 75% while maintaining stable torque and smooth motion.
