Description

The 74HC175D,653 is a high-speed, silicon-gate CMOS Quad D-Type Flip-Flop. This device contains four independent D-type flip-flops, each with a common clock input and a common asynchronous master reset (clear) input. Data at the D inputs, which meets the setup and hold time requirements, is transferred to the corresponding Q and $\overline{Q}$ (complementary) outputs on the positive-going edge of the clock signal. The asynchronous master reset allows for the simultaneous clearing of all outputs to a LOW state, overriding the clock input.

As part of the HC logic family, it offers the high noise immunity and low power consumption characteristic of CMOS, making it suitable for a variety of digital storage and sequential logic applications.
