Description

The 6N137 is a high-speed optocoupler IC that combines an AlGaAs LED with an integrated high-gain photodetector. It is specifically designed to provide high-speed digital data transmission, capable of operating at speeds up to 10 MBd (Megabaud). This makes it ideal for high-speed logic-to-logic interfacing, where signal integrity and rapid switching are critical.

The device features an internal Faraday shield to provide excellent common-mode transient immunity (CMTI), ensuring reliable operation even in environments with high electrical noise.
