IR2104 High and Low-Side Gate Driver IC – DIP-8

Description

The IR2104 is a high-voltage, high-speed power MOSFET and IGBT driver with a dependent high and low-side referenced output channel. It is specifically designed for half-bridge applications where a single input signal is used to control both high-side and low-side switches, with an integrated, programmable dead-time to prevent destructive shoot-through current.

The floating high-side channel can drive an N-channel power MOSFET or IGBT in a high-side configuration operating up to 600V. By using advanced HVIC and latch-immune CMOS technologies, the IR2104 provides a compact and robust solution for motor control and power conversion, simplifying the control logic needed for half-bridge stages.
