TLP281-4 – 4-Channel Transistor Output Optocoupler IC (SMD-16)

Description

The TLP281-4 is a multi-channel optocoupler specifically designed for high-density surface mount assembly. It features four independent channels, each consisting of a gallium arsenide (GaAs) infrared-emitting diode optically coupled to a high-gain phototransistor. Its very small and thin 16-pin SOIC (SMD-16) footprint makes it an excellent choice for space-constrained applications like PCMCIA modems and modern programmable controllers.

This device provides reliable electrical isolation between input and output circuits, protecting sensitive digital systems from high-voltage transients. With a minimum isolation voltage of 2500 Vrms and versatile AC/DC input compatibility, it is a robust solution for industrial signal isolation and communication interface buffering.
