Description
The MCP25625-E/ML is a highly integrated, cost-effective CAN controller and transceiver in a single package. It combines a complete CAN controller (based on the popular MCP2515 architecture) and a high-speed CAN transceiver into one chip. This integration significantly reduces the PCB footprint and simplifies the design process for applications requiring reliable CAN bus communication.
The device operates at 5V and is fully compliant with the ISO 11898-2 and ISO 11898-5 standards. It provides a standard SPI interface to communicate with any host microcontroller, making it an excellent choice for adding CAN connectivity to systems that lack a native CAN peripheral. The integrated transceiver supports high-speed data rates up to 1 Mbps, providing excellent noise immunity and low electromagnetic emissions.
