Description
The LF398 is a monolithic sample-and-hold amplifier IC designed to “freeze” an analog voltage level at a specific moment in time. By combining a high-speed input buffer with a precision hold capacitor interface, the LF398 allows high-speed analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) to accurately sample rapidly changing signals without errors caused by signal movement during the conversion process.
The device is engineered for low droop rates and fast acquisition times, making it a critical component in data acquisition systems, analog signal processing, and glitch-reduction circuits. Its robust design ensures excellent performance in diverse industrial and laboratory measurement setups.
