Description

The FT232RL is a highly integrated USB-to-Serial UART interface that simplifies the process of adding USB connectivity to embedded systems. As a key member of FTDI’s interface device range, it includes advanced features such as an optional clock generator output and the FTDIChip-ID™ security feature. By integrating the EEPROM, clock circuit, and USB termination resistors directly onto the chip, it significantly reduces the external component count and simplifies PCB design.
