Description

The EL814S(A)(TU) is a high-performance phototransistor optocoupler designed to provide robust galvanic isolation for circuits where the input signal may be AC or where polarity reversal is possible. It features two infrared-emitting diodes connected in an inverse-parallel configuration, optically coupled to a single silicon phototransistor.

Capable of withstanding a high isolation voltage of 5,000 Vrms, this device protects sensitive logic circuits from high-voltage transients. Its compact 4-pin surface-mount (SMD-4) package, combined with a wide operating temperature range (-55°C to 110°C), makes it an ideal choice for space-constrained industrial control systems and AC line monitoring.
