Description
The CD4050BE is a high-performance hex non-inverting buffer. It contains six independent buffers that provide a high-current output capability and are specifically designed for CMOS-to-TTL or CMOS-to-DTL interface applications. Unlike standard buffers, the CD4050BE is frequently used as a logic level shifter because the input voltage levels can exceed the supply voltage (VCC), allowing it to translate higher-voltage signals down to the supply voltage of the device.
