Description
The ADXL345 is a high-performance, ultra-low power 3-axis digital accelerometer designed for precise motion, vibration, tilt, and shock sensing applications. Featuring a high-resolution 13-bit measurement system with selectable measurement ranges of ±2g, ±4g, ±8g, and ±16g, this sensor delivers accurate acceleration data for both static and dynamic motion analysis.
The ADXL345 communicates through both I²C and SPI interfaces, making it easy to integrate with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, STM32, ESP32, ESP8266, and other microcontrollers. Its built-in FIFO memory, programmable interrupts, activity detection, inactivity monitoring, free-fall detection, and tap recognition significantly reduce processor workload while improving system responsiveness.
With an operating current of only 140µA (typ.), the ADXL345 is ideal for battery-powered embedded systems, wearable electronics, industrial monitoring equipment, robotics, IoT devices, consumer electronics, and portable instruments requiring reliable motion sensing and low power consumption.
