Description
The 74VHC125MX is an advanced, high-speed CMOS quad buffer featuring 3-state outputs. It contains four independent buffers, each controlled by an active-LOW Output Enable (OE-bar) input. When the OE-bar pin is driven LOW, the buffer passes the input signal to the output; when driven HIGH, the output enters a high-impedance (high-Z) state.
The “VHC” (Very High-Speed CMOS) series is designed to provide significantly faster propagation speeds than standard HC logic while maintaining high noise immunity and low power consumption. This makes it an ideal component for driving high-speed data buses and preventing bus contention in performance-critical digital designs.
