Description
The 74HCT273D,653 is a high-speed, silicon-gate CMOS Octal D-Type Flip-Flop. It features eight independent D-type flip-flops with a common clock input and a common asynchronous master reset (clear) input. Data at the D inputs, which meets the setup and hold time requirements, is transferred to the Q outputs on the positive-going edge of the clock pulse. The asynchronous master reset allows for the immediate clearing of all eight outputs to a LOW level, independent of the clock signal.
As part of the HCT series, this device is engineered for TTL-compatible input levels, allowing it to interface directly with 5V TTL logic while retaining the low power consumption and high noise immunity of the CMOS logic family. This makes it an ideal component for register applications, bus buffering, and state machine design in complex digital systems.
