Description

The 74HC75 is a high-speed, silicon-gate CMOS Quad Bistable Transparent Latch. This device contains four latches that are controlled in two pairs by two active-HIGH enable inputs (LE12 and LE34). When an enable input is HIGH, the latch is “transparent,” meaning the outputs follow the data inputs. When the enable input transitions from HIGH to LOW, the data present at the inputs is captured and held stable at the outputs.

The device provides both true (Q) and complementary ($\overline{Q}$) outputs, offering significant flexibility for digital design. Built with 74HC technology, it features low power consumption and high noise immunity. Its design includes input clamp diodes, allowing the use of current-limiting resistors to interface with signals exceeding the supply voltage.
