Description
The 74HC273D,653 is a high-speed, silicon-gate CMOS Octal D-Type Flip-Flop with an asynchronous master reset. This device consists of eight edge-triggered flip-flops with individual D-type inputs and buffered Q outputs. It is specifically designed for 8-bit data storage and buffering applications where a common reset is required to clear all internal flip-flops simultaneously.
Data at the D inputs is transferred to the corresponding Q outputs on the positive-going edge of the clock (CP) pulse. The asynchronous Master Reset (MR) input, when driven LOW, overrides the clock and data inputs, setting all Q outputs to a LOW state. As a member of the HC (High-Speed CMOS) logic family, the 74HC273 provides excellent noise immunity and low power consumption. The SOIC-20 surface-mount package is ideal for high-density PCB designs and automated manufacturing.
