Description
SPIDER Automation STMicroelectronics X-NUCLEO-IKS02A1 Industrial Motion MEMS Sensor Expansion Board is designed to provide comprehensive motion, vibration, and acoustic sensing capabilities for STM32 Nucleo development boards. Operating via standard I²C communication interfaces (with configurable default routing), this industrial-grade shield acts as a powerful data-acquisition platform for advanced embedded applications such as predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, robotics, and smart IoT nodes.
The board packs a high-performance array of STMicroelectronics micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS). It features the ISM330DHCX 3-axis accelerometer and 3-axis gyroscope with integrated sensor hub and machine learning capabilities, the IIS2MDC high-accuracy 3-axis magnetometer, the ultra-low-power IIS2DLPC 3-axis accelerometer, and the IMP34DT05 digital omnidirectional microphone. Additionally, it includes a DIL 24-pin socket for connecting extra adapter boards and is fully supported by free STM32Cube firmware libraries and code examples.
