Description
The Soil Moisture Sensor Module is designed to measure the moisture content in soil and similar materials. It features two exposed conductive pads that act as sensor probes and function as a variable resistor. As the moisture level in the soil increases, conductivity between the probes improves, reducing resistance and increasing the sensor output signal.
This module is easy to interface with Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, NodeMCU, and other microcontroller development boards. It comes with a pre-soldered 3-pin screw terminal for quick and reliable wiring connections, making it suitable for smart irrigation systems, automated plant watering projects, agriculture monitoring, and DIY electronics applications.
The sensor provides an analog output signal based on soil moisture levels, allowing accurate monitoring and control in automation systems.
