Description
The MP1584 is a high-frequency, synchronous step-down (buck) switching regulator engineered with an integrated high-side, high-voltage power MOSFET. Designed for demanding applications, it provides up to 3A of continuous output current using advanced current-mode control, which ensures exceptionally fast loop response and simplified circuit compensation. With a wide input voltage range of 4.5V to 28V, this regulator is perfectly suited for diverse environments, including automotive systems and industrial power rails.
To maximize efficiency across all load conditions, the MP1584 employs a pulse-skipping mode at light loads to reduce switching and gate-driving losses.
