Description
The MOC8102X is a member of the high-performance optocoupler family designed for secure signal transmission between electrically isolated circuits. It features a gallium arsenide (GaAs) infrared-emitting diode that is optically coupled to a silicon planar phototransistor detector, all housed within a compact, industry-standard 6-pin dual-in-line package (DIP-6).
This device is engineered to provide high isolation and stability. Notably, it excludes a base terminal connection, which significantly improves common-mode interface immunity, preventing external noise from interfering with the coupled signal. It is an ideal solution for bridging low-voltage control circuits to high-voltage or electrically noisy power stages while maintaining system safety and signal integrity.
