SPIDER Automation Microchip SAMA5D4 Xplained Ultra Evaluation Board offers engineers, developers, and embedded system designers an advanced, cost-effective platform to evaluate the SAMA5D4 Cortex-A5 microprocessor. Operating at 840 DMIPS, the SAMA5D4 MPU integrates an L2 cache and ARM NEON technology, making it exceptionally well-suited for high-performance, secure industrial applications, user interface (UI) terminals, and video playback devices.

The evaluation kit comes fully loaded with 512MB of DDR2 memory and 512MB of NAND flash. It supports comprehensive operating system ecosystems including Linux (via Linux4SAM with Yocto and Mainline support), Android, and bare-metal C software packages with rich example code. Outfitted with an HDMI output, LCD panel connectors, a 10/100 Ethernet port with a pre-programmed unique MAC address, multiple USB interfaces, and stackable Arduino R3 Shield / Xplained Wing headers, the SAMA5D4 Xplained Ultra streamlines the development of secure, connected embedded devices.
