Description

The MC74HC14ADR2G is a high-speed, silicon-gate CMOS Hex Inverter featuring Schmitt trigger inputs. This device contains six independent inverters. Unlike standard inverters, the Schmitt trigger inputs provide hysteresis, meaning the device responds differently to rising and falling signal edges. This makes the IC exceptionally effective at “squaring up” input signals with slow rise or fall times and rejecting noise in electrically harsh environments.

The device is pin-compatible with the standard LS14, LS04, and HC04 series. It is capable of driving up to 10 LSTTL loads and interfaces directly with CMOS, NMOS, and TTL logic levels (with appropriate pull-up resistors for LSTTL compatibility).
