Description

The MC74HC132ADR2G is a high-speed CMOS Quad 2-Input NAND Gate, where each input features an integrated Schmitt trigger circuit. Unlike standard logic gates that react to a specific voltage threshold, the Schmitt trigger inputs provide hysteresis (different voltage thresholds for rising and falling edges). This unique characteristic allows the device to transform slowly changing or noisy input waveforms into clean, sharp-edged digital signals at the output.
