Description
The DD30CRTA 12V Lead Acid Battery Charger Module is an advanced PWM switch-mode battery charger controller designed specifically for 12V lead-acid batteries. Engineered in a compact package requiring minimal external components, it manages the entire multi-stage charging cycle—including automatic trickle charge, constant current charge, over-charge, and float charge modes.
Equipped with intelligent internal voltage regulation, deeply discharged batteries are automatically trickle-charged at 17.5% of the programmed constant current until safe thresholds are met. Once the over-charge phase completes and current drops to 38%, the module automatically transitions into float-charge mode (13.55V typical) to compensate for self-discharge. Additional safeguards include under-voltage lockout, overcurrent protection, and automatic recharging when battery voltage dips.
