Description
The H11A1M is a general-purpose optocoupler that provides robust electrical isolation between input and output circuits. It consists of a high-efficiency gallium arsenide (GaAs) infrared-emitting diode optically coupled to a silicon phototransistor, all housed in a standard 6-pin dual in-line package (DIP-6).
By providing a high-impedance barrier between the control side and the load side, the H11A1M protects sensitive microcontrollers and low-voltage logic circuits from dangerous high-voltage transients, noise, and surges present in power circuits. This component is widely utilized in industrial and consumer electronics where reliable signal isolation is required to maintain system integrity.
