CCD Sensor & Image Processing
The HS1190 V2 uses a 1/3-inch Sony Super HAD II CCD image sensor with 600TVL horizontal resolution. This sensor configuration is designed for analogue FPV video capture in aerial platforms and remote-controlled aircraft. Its specified minimum illumination is 0.01 Lux at F1.2.
The integrated Digital Wide Dynamic Range (D-WDR) function supports image processing in scenes containing different brightness levels. This is useful in aerial environments where the camera may encounter changing illumination, shaded areas and brighter backgrounds during flight.
Integrated OSD & Flight Telemetry Display
The integrated on-screen display overlays selected flight information onto the camera’s analogue video output. The HS1190 V2 supports three independently configurable OSD parameters:
- Battery Voltage: Displays the monitored battery-voltage reading within the FPV video feed.
- Flight Timer: Displays flight-time information for onboard flight monitoring.
- Customizable User Name: Allows a user-defined name to be displayed on the video screen.
The display positions of these parameters can be adjusted independently, allowing the user to organise the telemetry layout according to viewing preferences. The camera also incorporates a voltage calibration function, enabling adjustment of the displayed voltage when it differs from the measured battery voltage.
Power Management & Battery Monitoring
The HS1190 V2 features upgraded power-management circuitry designed for a stated 5–35V DC input range. This broad input capability supports integration with compatible low-voltage and multi-cell battery-powered FPV platforms, provided the actual supply remains within the camera’s permitted operating range.
Its 7-pin connection interface supports battery-voltage monitoring and OSD-related connectivity. The voltage calibration feature allows the displayed reading to be adjusted through the OSD configuration system. Correct wiring and interface compatibility must be verified before connecting the camera to the aircraft’s battery or monitoring circuit.
Optical Configuration & Audio Capability
The camera incorporates a 2.5mm IR-Block lens for visible-light FPV imaging. The lens configuration is intended for onboard video capture and real-time aerial viewing. The IR-block filter helps limit infrared light reaching the imaging sensor.
An integrated microphone provides onboard audio capability. Audio transmission depends on the connected video transmitter and receiver supporting the required audio connection and transmission functionality.
Mechanical Design & Installation Accessories
The camera assembly measures 26 × 26 × 32mm and has an approximate weight of 13g. Its compact housing is suitable for integration into FPV camera compartments and compatible aerial platform mounting arrangements.
The supplied metal bracket and plastic ring set support camera mounting, while the spare camera case provides an additional housing component. A dedicated OSD control board and 7-pin servo cable are also included for configuration and system connection.
