Description

The CD4053BE is a CMOS-based Triple 2-Channel Analog Multiplexer/Demultiplexer. It acts as a digitally controlled analog switch, allowing you to route analog or digital signals between different paths under the control of digital select signals. The device consists of three independent switches, each with one common input/output (COM) and two independent input/outputs (Y0, Y1), controlled by a single select (A, B, or C) input.

This IC is highly versatile, supporting signal levels up to the supply voltage range. It features an active-LOW Enable (INH-bar) input which, when driven HIGH, disables all switches, effectively creating an open-circuit state across all channels. It is widely used in signal gating, multiplexing, and programmable gain control applications.
