Description

The CD4029 is a high-performance Presettable Up/Down Counter from the 4000-series CMOS logic family. It is a synchronous counter that can be configured to count in either binary or BCD (Binary Coded Decimal) modes. The counter features an asynchronous parallel load input, allowing for rapid preset of data, and can count either up or down depending on the mode control inputs.

This device is highly versatile for sequential logic applications, operating over a wide supply voltage range (typically 3V to 15V).
