Description
The Amass XT150 Gold-Plated Male Battery Connector, model XT150-M.G.B, is a high-current electrical connector designed for demanding battery and power distribution applications. Its XT150 configuration uses a large 6mm bullet contact with a broad contact area, making it suitable for compatible high-power systems where low electrical loss and dependable current transfer are important.
The connector uses a brass contact with gold plating and a collet-style contact construction. Compared with conventional thin sheet-style spring contacts, this design provides increased surface-to-surface contact at the mating interface. The connector is specified for up to 130A maximum current and is compatible with 8AWG silicon wire, making it suitable for high-current battery wiring and power connections.
The plastic housing is detachable, allowing the connector arrangement to be configured according to the required wiring sequence or maintained as separate connectors. Compatible XT150 housings can also be linked through the external dovetail joining structure. The connector is intended for applications such as large LiPo batteries, ESCs and motors.
