Description
A Feather board without ambition is a Feather board without FeatherWings! This is the Non-Latching Mini Relay FeatherWing, designed to give you precise control over power. You can now turn on and off lamps, fans, solenoids, and other small appliances that run on up to 250VAC or DC power using any Feather board.
By utilizing Feather Stacking Headers or Feather Female Headers, you can easily connect this FeatherWing on top of your Feather board. This “non-latching” flavor features a single SET pin. By default, the relay’s COM pin is mechanically connected to the NC (Normally Closed) pin, while the NO (Normally Open) pin is disconnected. When the SET pin is pulled high, the internal switch toggles, mechanically connecting the COM pin to the NO pin and disconnecting the NC pin.
Operational Note: When the relay is active, a red LED illuminates, and approximately 50mA of current is consumed to keep the coil energized. If power is lost, the relay will return to its default “open” state.
