Description

The 74HC373D,653 is a high-speed, silicon-gate CMOS Octal D-type Transparent Latch. This device contains eight D-type flip-flops with transparent latch characteristics and 3-state outputs. When the Latch Enable (LE) input is HIGH, the outputs follow the data (D) inputs. When LE is taken LOW, the data that was present at the inputs at the moment of the transition is stored (latched) in the internal flip-flops.

The 3-state output control (OE) allows for high-impedance operation, making this IC ideal for interfacing with microprocessor buses and shared data lines. The 74HC technology ensures high speed, low power consumption, and high noise immunity, fitting perfectly into modern digital logic architectures.
