Description

The 74HC126D,653 is a high-speed, silicon-gate CMOS Quad Buffer/Line Driver featuring 3-state outputs. It contains four independent buffers, each with its own active-HIGH output enable (OE) input. When the OE input is LOW, the output is placed in a high-impedance (OFF) state, effectively disconnecting the buffer from the circuit.

This device is ideal for bus-oriented systems where multiple devices need to share a common data line. By controlling the OE pin, you can selectively enable one buffer to drive the bus while keeping others in a high-impedance state, preventing signal contention.
