Description

The eSUN ePC (Polycarbonate) filament in Natural is a high-performance, flame-retardant material engineered for demanding applications where heat resistance and low flammability are critical. This filament offers exceptional transparency and is rated at the UL94: V-2 flame-retardant level. It is an environmentally friendly, non-toxic material that combines high strength, rigidity, and good toughness, making it an excellent choice for 3D printing industrial-grade parts.

ePC is highly malleable and easy to process, with a shrinkage rate comparable to ABS, ensuring high accuracy and minimal warping. It possesses superior thermostability and a high distortion temperature, allowing finished prints to maintain their integrity in high-heat environments. Note: Due to the material’s properties, use of a hardened or stainless steel nozzle and a nozzle diameter of 0.6mm or greater is highly recommended.

Suggested Print Settings

  • Nozzle Temperature: 235°C – 260°C
  • Heatbed Temperature: 80°C – 110°C (Elmer’s purple glue stick recommended for adhesion)
  • Print Speed: 30 – 60 mm/s
  • Recommended Nozzle: Stainless steel or Hardened nozzle (>0.5mm, 0.6mm recommended)
